June 26 Newsletter
Dear St Mary and St Anthony Parishioners,
I hope you are all well, safe and happy. We here in the office are doing fine.
Here’s the latest:
We are sad to announce that Mission Days 2020 is cancelled. After much deliberation, there was no safe way to run this program. Please know that they will be back next year. In lieu of Mission Days this year, four of our adult organizers went back to one of the properties they cleaned up last year and cleaned it up this year!
Even though St Anthony’s church is ‘open’ for the weekend Masses, it is not open for any visits, nor are there any morning Masses at this time.
Thank you to everyone that purchased St Mary BLOCK PARTY Grand Raffle Tickets. The winners were announced in last week’s Newsletter. We made a profit of $6570.00!!
Just a reminder that St Mary’s Fatima Club New Year will start in July... with the July 27th drawing. To date, we have sold 86 numbers! Please consider joining or re-joining soon. I need at least 140 numbers purchased by July 25 to make a small profit. Last year’s profit was just over $2800! You may join via paper or online at https://www.nashobacatholic.org/fatima-club.
Father D’s Scripture episodes are doing well. Check them out at https://www.nashobacatholic.org/scripture-journey.
All weekend Masses that were not said during the time the churches were closed, have been re-booked. We can now accept Mass Intentions for the weekend Masses only.
90-Days Now – For Your Parish is an online supplemental offertory giving program started by the laity to help support parishes during the pandemic.
Phase 1 raised $450,000 for 236 parishes
Phase 2 offers a match gift from a generous anonymous benefactor when the overall campaign reaches $700,000!
Should you choose to join in this effort, or give again to help reach the match, the Archdiocese has created an easy-to-use link to donate at www.BostonCatholic.org/donate. All funds go directly to our parish.
Thank you for your continued support whether through the 90-Days Now program, our EFT, online or mailed in donations...or when you come to Mass!
Till next time, stay safe, be well, and have an enjoyable weekend!
