Faith Formation

Serving the families of St Mary Parish & St Anthony of Padua Parish

September 1, 2020

Greetings Everyone!

I am very excited to be your new Faith Formation Coordinator for Nashoba Valley Catholic Collaborative!  Due to Covid-19 and our desire to keep everyone safe, the traditional biweekly Faith Formation classes have been eliminated for the upcoming school year. Father D has given me the challenge to create a brand new, family-based Faith Formation program that is remote, easy on your time, and enjoyable.

Father D invites you and your children on a journey with him this school year, a year we are calling “Make your House a Holy Place”. With Masses now being viewed from home, Father D is providing the opportunity for you to learn more about the Mass and how you can benefit from the Mass experience as a family.  Students in 2nd through High School will participate in five online, interactive Faith Formation lessons. Due to a wonderful donation from parishioner, Patrick Kelly, we are able to make the lessons interactive via his company platform, Brainshark.  This gift also reduces the cost of this year’s program to $20 per family.

In addition, the Archdiocese of Boston has made available a special website,, for fun Catholic activities the whole family can enjoy starting in October!

First Communion and Confirmation students: In addition to our parish classes, we have selected work specifically for the preparation of your sacrament to be completed at your own pace. More information will follow.

I’ve taken on this position with hesitation and with faith in God’s guidance, with hope you experience the beauty, strength, and community our Catholic faith can bring to our lives. This is especially important now, as we all need an anchor to hold onto.

From there you will be able to register your children for the Faith Formation program. Please email me with any questions, or I will be glad to set up a Zoom meeting if needed. I look forward to seeing you all in-person someday soon. Stay well!

Blessings to you,
